Solar panel related machinery
There is growing interest in clean, natural, renewable energy. Focusing on photovoltaic power generation, Kitagawa Seiki is confident that we can make a contribution to society through our laminators for fabricating solar panels.
What is a solar panel?

Module composition

Components are loaded into the laminator -> Forming (heating -> vacuum drawing -> pressing -> completion)
Laminator
[Space-saving]
- Multi-opening design saves space.
[Shorter fabrication time]
- Both sides are heated at the same time for more efficient heat transfer to the module, shortening fabrication time and increasing production volume.
- Also reduces energy consumption.
[Tray loading system]
- Prevents damage to the modules during loading
- No contact between the modules and the heating plates during loading ensures more uniform heating, with no temperature difference between the front and rear of the module.
- No need for a loading belt inside the laminator, for easier cleaning and maintenance.
- Multiple modules can be fabricated simultaneously.

| Effective area | 1,000×1,800mm |
|---|---|
| Number of openings | 6 |
| Speed of attaining vacuum | 90 sec. to 0.1 kPa |
| Temperature control | Max. temperature: 180°C, temp. fluctuation: within 4°C (when set at 150°C) |
| Heating method | Thermal oil circulation with heater |
Tray recovery line operation
Trays are recovered by the tray recovery unit, increasing work efficiency and saving space.
[Features]
- Minimum vacuum volume
Enables quick deaeration of the module before the sealing resin softens. - Sliding tray system
Safe and easy loading and unloading of modules. - Top and bottom double-sided heating
Modules are heated quickly for higher quality results. - Equipped with sensors for gathering data
The laminator is equipped with sensors for detecting the heating plate temperature and vacuum pressure.
By connecting the laminator to a recording device, data can be collected for each setting condition. - Compact size for installation flexibility
Space-saving design enables the laminator to be installed even in an office laboratory room. Equipped with casters for easy movement. No peripheral equipment required.
